The gear is actually double threaded, not single threaded as shown on the product image. I didn't realize it until I modified the engine for my application so I can't get it back. The worm I received has a part number that matches the listing, but nowhere in the description is there a mention of a duplicate thread. I found the Boston Gear catalog on another website and was able to confirm that it is a two-threaded worm. I was also able to find the part number for the correct single start auger (the part number for this gear is GH1066RH), although this parts list also doesn't state whether the gear is single start or dual start. I would advise the seller to add single or double threads to the part description and the buyer to confirm part numbers in the Boston Gear catalog or you may end up with a gear that is not suitable for your application. It would also be helpful if the Boston Gear catalog page was attached to the listing for reference.
