Review on Stylish and Magnetic: KEEN Montford M Fashion Sneaker Men's Shoes by Sam Lund

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Wrong size Suitable for shoes

The shoes are too narrow for a person with a width of 3E. Some pressure on my smallest toe. I'm concerned about how much the shoe will stretch since the darker material around the toe box is synthetic. There's definitely enough room in the box, but it's disproportionate, right out of the box. Most of the space is vertical space over the middle of the foot. Definitely a bit painful to break in, but almost every shoe is for me. Shoes don't fit. That's a big 12. My feet float in it a bit. I can't believe most of the reviewers who describe this as being the right size are wearing anything other than Keen. I normally wear a size 12 on most major brands without much variation, but my toe box is probably about a full inch behind the front of the shoe on these shoes. Without the insoles it becomes clear that I probably need half a size smaller to adapt my feet to the marked contours. I used a kin chart (actual length in centimeters vs shoe size in inches) to determine sizing. Definitely scale down if you're not wearing Keen. Good heel slip even with lacing that is as firm as it is comfortable. Out of the box the shoes are of average quality but the support feels great. Solid contour that adapts well to the natural shape of the foot. The sole is firm and I have a feeling the upper will fall apart first. I'm going back to go half a size down.
