Keen makes shoes again that look like someone sneaked into my bedroom one night, measured my feet and made me a custom pair of shoes. Keen is the only brand I have ever bought without trying on first. Wide enough for my Charlie Brown feet, which are as wide as they are long, and my big toe so I could tap my toes to the beat of the music without anyone but me noticing. Keen makes shoes that are consistently comfortable and consistently goofy-looking.

Comfortable, but little grip!

At work, I'm on my feet at least 60 hours a week. After a few days of wearing, the shoes became very comfortable, feet don't hurt at the end of the day. My only real complaint is with the clutch. If I even look at a wet surface, I will slip and fall. Of course I'm exaggerating, but there really isn't enough grip. I actually got both of my legs thrown out from under me today and landed on wet concrete. The concrete itself is actually quite textured and you would expect something to cling to it…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Do Not Buy. I bought a pair and within a short time the upper began to separate from the sole in the instep. I love Keene shoes and have never had this problem so dismissed it as an accident and bought another pair for a business trip to China. Within three weeks, the new pair failed in the same spot, with the upper lagging behind the sole. These shoes are defective and I would not recommend buying them.

Fits like an old Keen

Keen recently changed his shoes. I used to be able to walk out of REI with size 9.5 Keen sneakers in any style and be confident they would fit. Typically, their hiking boots didn't even have a break-in period. But now, even on the models I've been buying for years, I've had to go down to a size 11M so my toe doesn't touch the toe of my boot. Of course, with this size, the boot did not fit my foot. These Montfords are best suited to old Keens. I used Revain Wardrobe to get 5 different Keen…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

This is the second pair of Keen shoes that I have owned. I also have a pair of their hiking sandals. I loved sandals and when I needed a more durable shoe for work Keane was the first thing that came to mind and I was not disappointed. I work as a sales clerk in a large hardware store and am on my feet every shift and when I wear them out I look for another pair. Having said that, my biggest complaint about shoes is that they are too tight. You can probably see it in the photos but these shoes…

Great men's Keen sneakers

I have lived in Keens for most of the last ten years as I enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities. I bought my first pair about 4 years ago for the office and walking around town. This first pair saw very little wear over the years, even after many easy hikes. But I figured it was time for a new pair so I can change them easily if they need washing and such. I was delighted that this "magnetic" color combination that I love so much is still available. 5 Stars! Also a sizing note - I wear a…

WIDE LEGS, okay, not great, but I'm happy.

I have very wide/flat feet so I mostly buy Keen. Keen Rialto is perfect for me. This shoe is not that wide but just enough to be comfortable. I wear 13 and bought 13 - apart from being slightly narrower than the Rialto, fits as expected. After wearing them all day, my pinky toe will start to hurt on the outside, but they are fine for 6 hours or less. They breathe much better than full leather Rialtos which is why I bought them. I've had them since October 2018 and they're great for everyday…

Wrong size Suitable for shoes

The shoes are too narrow for a person with a width of 3E. Some pressure on my smallest toe. I'm concerned about how much the shoe will stretch since the darker material around the toe box is synthetic. There's definitely enough room in the box, but it's disproportionate, right out of the box. Most of the space is vertical space over the middle of the foot. Definitely a bit painful to break in, but almost every shoe is for me. Shoes don't fit. That's a big 12. My feet float in it a bit. I can't…
