Rarely found in any other retail store, also time consuming
Before I found this adapter I tried many times at other major retail stores hoping to get what I see and it actually tried there instead of ordering online. This is a slightly more complex component in the connection from the compressor to the irrigation system that has brass steps (at 45 degrees although I didn't understand that before). My compressor had a standard 1/4" NPT fitting and would not connect to winterized brass sprinkler systems. hope and it worked great, saved me a lot of time, frustration, internet reading and of course trial and error.
