I have purchased several seasonal outfits over the past few years. I paired it with pants because we were vacationing in South Carolina and it wasn't warm enough for a skirt. My daughter is 7 years old and doesn't like being called 'little girl' anymore but other than that she loved the skirt. Personally, I prefer generic seasonal outfits rather than clothing tied to a specific holiday theme so they can be worn more days this month. The thing about them is that they're mostly cotton, they're breathable and don't sweat, and they get softer the more times you wash them. So if you have several girls and the clothes are passed down from generation to generation, they will last a long time. Although they come in sizes 8-12, I find these cartoon patterns are better for younger children. So if you don't want all your kids to be the same, I have a feeling I'll probably dress her up in something nicer when she gets older. My 7 years is the 99th percentile for height. She wore this during Thanksgiving week but wore a prettier dress on Thanksgiving. It looks cute with boots and can be accessorized with a fur vest or a fun headband.
