This is a great idea and seems perfect for coloring enthusiasts. That being said, I bought this product for a slightly different purpose and I love it. I use something like my teacher's journal/notebook (8 1/2" x 11", spiral bound - about 1/2" thick) and a set of colored pencils that I bought to write in. The elastic loops are more for thin crayons but seem to fit my pens well for that purpose :)) Then I attach velcro to the calculator and notepad - and - immediately At least the next 4 school years The only thing I didn't like was particularly good i liked the neon green logo on the front - but i was able to hide it with a large inspiring lettering. cker - so overall i am very satisfied with this product and would not only recommend it to color lovers. :)
