Great budget case with stand, SPen holder and screen protector

This case is the perfect combination of protection, ease of use and value. That's all you *need* from a suitcase, although there are better ones out there for a lot of money. It's a decent thickness and the slot keeps the SPen secure. The buttons work great - the case uses plastic extensions so the outer rubber buttons connect directly to the tablet's controls. So far the stand is great - seems pretty sturdy although I wouldn't put too much weight on it. The only "issue" with the case is the iridescent sheen of the screen protector. It's not really a problem - it's hard to notice when the tablet's screen is on, but it's there. Some might find this annoying. (Actually, I replace it with glass lids.) Now, three quick tips to help you get the most out of it: - When removing the SPen, be careful to orient the magnets correctly. The tip of the SPen should be facing UP (towards the power button) and the flat side of the SPen should be facing the tablet. Do this and the magnets will keep it in the slot - forget it and the SPen could fall out. The stand moves up from the screen at a 45 degree angle. To get it closer to 80 degrees (like Skype) I just put a book or some Duplo blocks under the stand and everything works great. The SPen glides neatly over it. Make sure your tablet screen is VERY clean before use. I used strips of masking tape to remove every speck of dust and it worked really well.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's OK
