Review on Cable Matters 3.5mm TRS to Dual 6.35mm TS Breakout Cable - 6 Feet, 1/8 to Dual 1/4 Audio Cable by Josh Reynolds

I plug my laptop's headphone jack into the back of the audio interface so I can use my laptop's sound cards as the audio source. I have very good Mogami cables connecting my AI to my speakers, but when I plug in my laptop I get terrible hiss and line hum, even at low volume. All my equipment is isolated by a sine wave UPS, so I can tell you I don't encounter any interference from any other connection. They just aren't protected enough.
