Before writing a review for this product, I wanted to make sure I had enough time to use and test the product. Too often we fall into the trap of praising a product immediately after purchase, tempted by a false sense of excitement about our new toy, only to find that within a week of use we have a shiny new paperweight in our hands. Make sure it doesn't apply to this product. This product has been in continuous use for over 2 months now. The setup looks like this: Roofull itself is connected to 5 HDMI sources in our media cabinet: DISH Hopper, Chromecast, Fire Stick, Blu Ray and Xbox One. The output cable is a 35' 26 AWG version 1.4A certified HDMI cable. This cable is rated "in the wall" and runs from our media closet, through our attic and down the interior wall of our living room to a 1080P flat screen display hanging over our fireplace. Not a ton of frills with this device (just what I wanted), but just know that it does its job, and it does it well. The picture is sharp and clear, with no visible lines, discoloration, distortion or interruptions. The sound is tight and responsive, with no noticeable lag. You will think that the TV is connected directly to the source you are interested in! It doesn't get any better than that. The board is unremarkable. It does the job of switching between sources (we have an IR sensor under the TV that leads back to the media cabinet where ROOFULL picks up the IR signal). Although this device can be turned off, we do not use the power switch, so this product is always on. I'm not sure about the power consumption of the device itself and if the product's lifespan will suffer from the constant power supply. It doesn't bother me at the moment. All in all a great buy for the price. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap HDMI switcher.
