Many OBD2 scanners now have a mobile app connection that requires a subscription. So when I saw this scanner I was much more interested as I hate paying monthly fees. I ran a full diagnostic scan on my Impreza and it worked flawlessly. Works exactly as advertised. The only thing you need to know is that you want to keep the ignition on so you don't lose power. However, it can also be used by the passenger to register various indicators while using the vehicle. I'm not a mechanic so I'll probably check for issues if they arise, but for now I'm happy to have an extra line of defense to check for vendor claims during scheduled maintenance.
