Mmmm toast. in kitchen and dining room

I know what you're doing here. You're trying to convince yourself that you can handle that simple $15 Simon toaster you've bookmarked instead of digging in your pockets and shelling out some cash for this Cuisinart beauty right here. I mean, it's just toast and bagels, right? How hard is it to screw up? I said the same thing just before I bought a basic B&D. Two weeks later I was wondering how this idiot could cook some shit on one side and not the other, and why the lever didn't stay down either, so you had to hold it down until you stopped. I thought your bagel was ready or it would get stuck and I had to unplug the toaster and turn the lever until it freed my bagel. Nobody should fight with a toaster. It's sad and humiliating when a device holds your food hostage just to watch you struggle. Don't waste your money on another cheap device. You don't save anything if you have to buy something again because the first one was poorly made. Let's just call it what it is. cheap. Invest in your technology. Invest your money in a device that won't let you down or laugh behind your back because you're eating a half-toasted bagel cut into pieces because you can't take it out of the toaster in one piece. I love this toaster. It does what it's supposed to do and if I had to shell out a little more to make sure I could toast both sides of the bread, it was worth it. Thanks Kuzinart.
