Pros: (1) It's heavy so it doesn't move too much when you tune it in bed. (2) String magnet keeps the top down when moving and storing. (3) The air vents look good. gives it a smoother look. Cons: (1) All of the wood is rough except for the smooth top, except for the cup holder notch which is rough but coated. (2) They use wing nuts to adjust the height of the leg, so it may take time. and possibly a screwdriver if the screw on the opposite side won't stay in place. (3) The legs will not fold when adjusted to any height other than the shortest. Would be nice except it takes time to set the height. (4) The drawer is very loose, so it will open when the table is tilted for moving or storage. I do not recommend storing anything in it. I always worry about catching something and breaking it. (5) Crack wooden legs. He left small pieces of wood on my bed. The sheet almost tore when I moved it. A splinter from folding the legs for storage caught my hand. There is also a large splinter on one leg that is about half an inch at the top and extends to the tip at the bottom. Note 1: The first lap table I received had a defect that caused the legs to not open on one side. I felt like ripping the tree apart before my legs opened. I even tried using a screwdriver. The replacement had a different footrest than the first. It was the same design but on a larger scale. It didn't stick and made the slope too steep. Note 2: I bought the same lap table from a third party Target Mind Reader with a pink cover. Same company, same packaging, same label format and size. Enormous difference in quality! Pink has much better opacity all over. The same natural colored legs are tight and smooth. The cupholder notch is rough but coated, so it's not too bad. The quality is so different. (I bought pink as a gift for my mom and she loved it so I bought this natural color which isn't that good. I'm returning it for a refund.)
