Review on KINVOCA C25 Joypad for Nintendo Switch/Lite - Ultimate Wired/Wireless Controller with Programmable Macros, Turbo, Motion Control & Dual Motors - Joycon Replacement (Blue and Yellow w/Grip) by Noah Lewis

I had to write this review because I was surprised by it. First, when you move them around on the Switch, the clicking sensation isn't the same as the original joystick, but that's okay. BUT. They feel very cozy and it's amazing. Nothing wobbles after installation. They feel so good and snug like they're made out of one piece, just like the Switch Lite. You won't feel them detach from the Switch case. Love it. Next buttons. All button presses are pleasant. I like the feeling when you press ZL and ZR. L and R are slightly clicky and louder than I would like. ZL and ZR seemed softer to me. A, B, X, Y are ok, no complaints. I must point out; Although not often pressed, I liked the fact that the + and - buttons are real buttons, not their shape on the original joystick. The main page and screenshot work fine. DPad and Analog Sticks The analog sticks are great; They travel well and don't feel cheap. I think I like them better than the original joycons. They look small, only slightly larger. Pressing the button with each stick is also normal. Now Dpad. So the DPad is better than the joycon because the joycon doesn't have one. So if I had to choose, I would choose here. However, having used the Hori DPad for Switch, Hori is far superior to this one for me. It's like they just placed the DPad on top of the joystick buttons, and each directional press feels like an actual button press. very clicky again. Hori has a softer feel than the ZL and ZR buttons on this controller, which is perfect. In addition, it is difficult to perform diagonal presses. Other than that, regular directional presses work, so it doesn't get in the way at all. The function of the screen is similar to that of the normal screen. There only seems to be mid to high-pitched hum; no complicated rumble like the original joycon. There's nothing to shout about. And I haven't tried the gyroscope or the turbo buttons. But it's great that they are. I haven't had them long enough to determine battery life. Conclusion The fact that these controllers are larger than a joystick to provide a better grip, have a DPad, a gyroscope, great button feel, great analog stick feel, can be used separately from the Switch, and have additional features like turbo and a way to set sequential click buttons for only $40, making it an EASY recommendation. My right joycon started to drift and a year ago I had drift on my left joycon which prompted me to get the Hori DPad. I could use Hori on the left and this one on the right, but the controller shapes are different and would be weird. DPad is good enough, so I can handle it. Again only $40. If you are on a fence, get off the fence and hold onto it. I don't think you'll be upset about what you did. Updated 2/22/2021 Still in force. No problem. No bustle or anything. Other functions like turbo and such I haven't tried yet. The only thing I still don't like is the clicking L and R buttons and the clicking D-Pad. I just want them all to feel like ZL and ZR buttons. But they all still work perfectly. Consider getting a second pair just as a backup. I also recommend. Also, I haven't charged them since I bought them and I would say I pick up and play on my Switch at least every other day, averaging about 1 to 2 hours at a time. Reliable purchase. Update 7/12/2021 Nothing more to say other than I'm still using it and haven't had any issues.
