I ordered the small size for our kitten and it is perfect. She was found abandoned around 4-5 weeks old and was too small to use a tray so we used half a foil tray. Now she is around 6-7 weeks old, she has grown a bit and needed something bigger but still too small for large litter boxes. The little box is perfect for her. She's very passionate about burying her business, which is why she's kicking the trash like crazy. These high-walled walls help prevent clutter. The S&M combo was not available when I bought this. I wish the medium size was available on my own as I love this box so much I wish the next size was bigger as she grows out. Very easy to assemble and looks very good. Just as easy to clean
