My old dog got pancreatitis and we weren't sure if he would make it. Their skin turned black and their fur seemed very thin. I thought it was partly due to age, but due to pancreatitis she was put on a special veterinary diet which was expensive. I've been looking for good dog food for pancreatitis a few times and came across Avoderm. My dog has been taking this for about 8 months now. She likes it, there has been no recurrence of pancreatitis, the blackening of the skin has gone, the fur seemed younger again. I know this is partly because the low fat diet has helped her digestion but she has just responded so well to this food and the fact that I can see such a big difference in her coat makes this order for us all two weeks.
