Review on Ultimate Performance Unleashed: Behringer ULM302MIC Wireless Microphone System by Mark Quarterman

Not for professional use

Trying this microphone system again. Usually, although cheap, Behringer still offers a lot of straps per dollar. I found them unsuitable for my DJ/karaoke service. I like the idea of powering two mics from a smaller receiver, but it's not quite done yet. The build quality also looks cheap. My main issue was that when using both mics at the same time, there was interference and an audible noise. It's just not acceptable. When running any of them, the sound quality was good and usable. Just not both together. If anyone is looking for a similar device, I would recommend the AKG WMS40 Mini. While build quality is about the same, they work. In addition, portable devices only require one AA battery. Has great battery life. I just don't understand why these companies can't make a similar block and improve the quality a bit. I would gladly spend the 100€ for a decent device. I've also tried a similar device from another company and it seems to work fine, but I haven't tried it yet. Might report on that later. In general, for those looking at these Behringers, I wouldn't recommend them. Maybe for kids just to have fun but that's about it. Or if you only use one at a time and have a backup in case one of them fails.
