The packaging surprised me when I opened the box. I found the hood locks heavy, a regular key to lock/unlock, and they seemed sturdy. Then when the application started, I discovered an error. One of the bonnet locks had a broken bolt and the nut was broken. They don't work even after trying to reload both. Since the bolt is welded into the assembly, it took some time to get it working. Luckily I had a Ford bolt to fix poor handling at the factory. What should have taken minutes took hours. Update: The seller contacted me about issues with the hood latches which I really appreciated. I did not complain to the seller, the hood locks came quickly, perfectly packaged. The problem with what we ordered can happen with any product that is made on an assembly line. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to protect the hood.
