Review on 🧒 Markwort C-FLAP Guard by Joshua Gallegos

Requires assembly best in punching bags

Not sure why more companies don't make helmets with C-Flaps. It's something of a necessary piece of equipment when the kids reach the kids section where the kids throw in front of the other kids for the first time. Pros: Because you have to attach it to your helmet, there's plenty of room for customization. You can attach the C key at an angle that works best for the player, although there is a guide/template if you just want to follow along. Of course, if you don't want to use a stencil, you need to make sure it still offers enough protection. Once attached, the C key is very reliable. The price isn't terrible since we're talking about security. Cons: It's probably more of a challenge for those who aren't very comfortable. This involves removing and eventually reattaching the insulation on the inside and drilling holes in the helmet itself. I don't see this as a huge disadvantage, but then again, unless you're very handy or don't have a drill, it becomes a nuisance. Overall this is a good product that I would like companies to add to their standard product. Suggestions are pre-made. Although the possibility of customization gives C-Flap a value in its own right.

Pros
  • Lexan C-Flap plastic construction is stronger than most batting helmets
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled
