(UPDATE) Received a replacement unit after being contacted by a company representative. After experimenting with different USB adapters (trust me, the previous issue may be related to the type of adapter used) there was no problem charging. I can even charge my phone wirelessly in the case! I am using a 40w power supply (4 ports). It would be nice if a decent USB adapter were included or if the minimum specifications of the USB adapter were clearly stated in the instructions (1 star deducted). All in all a great basic/compact that charges your phone and wakes you up in the morning. Simple design that takes up little space on the bedside table. It would be nice if the alarm volume control was available for those who sleep quickly. The device has a battery backup function, so you don't have to worry if the power goes out.[11/12/20] Great compact design. I purchased this item based on the price, compact size and advertised wireless charging, wireless charging did not work. Returned.
