Review on 27A 12V Alkaline Battery 5 Pack by Samantha Allen

I bought this 5 pack based on reviews and price and must have received a faulty batch which ended up costing me much more than expected . I hired someone to come into the house as the string of little LED lights that sit under my kitchen cabinets died just a few months after putting one of those batteries in the remote control. The second battery from this pack didn't work at all when we replaced it, but the third seemed to work. He left, although less than a couple of weeks later the remote with the battery died again so I had to hire him to come back. Luckily I ordered some new batteries from one of the two big brands and received them the day before he arrived so he could replace them with these and they kept working. I'm throwing away the rest of them as we've gone through three that quickly went out of service (in less than a couple of months) or DOA (died on arrival) on one of them. Paying someone to work on something that depends on 27A batteries and has a 100 percent chance of failure is too risky and too expensive. I stick with the top two brands for batteries of this size as I usually do for other sizes and it reminded me why.
