Toilet buckets are difficult to compact due to many factors. I don't know if that will necessarily make the bedding last longer or not. But the added probiotics are soothing and I think the smell is better. I already use Boxie Pro Litter - the smell is already better than the crap I used before. With potty habits, weather etc, it's hard to know what this does in terms of extending the life of your bedding or even the smell by 100%. There are many variables. But the first day I picked it up after using it, there was NO smell of a bucket of freshly scooped poo. So in the end it should help a little! I will keep using it! (I'm a foster mom and have a lot of orders so any little help is greatly appreciated!) Thank you Boxy for another great product.
