Not sure if this is necessary with Boxie cat litter but it worked fine with two old Fresh Step bowls. I usually change it every two weeks but with the help of the filler it stayed fresh, dry and odorless for another two weeks and my cats used it even more than before. Spay is fragrance free and odorless. Have used this box for 4 weeks with no filler deterioration.

Removes odors from cat litter. My only problem is that the atomizer mechanism doesn't work well in the last 2 bottles I've received. I can get 1 or maybe 2 sprays and then nothing comes out. I need to keep downloading to make it work again. Luckily I have old bottles that the pump works fine in and I fill them up with the ones that don't work but it's a headache and given the cost of this stuff they should make a better product.

First, the atomizer didn't work. Despite cleaning and adjustment, it did not spatter at all. After running out of stock for two weeks (probably due to urgent purchases to apply sanitizer due to COVID) I was finally able to buy a new sprayer at the hardware store. I transferred the product to a new bottle and was finally able to use it. I used the product as directed and drank almost the entire bottle with no noticeable difference in the smell of kitty litter. Toilet buckets are difficult to compact due to many factors. I don't know if that will necessarily make the bedding last longer or not. But the added probiotics are soothing and I think the smell is better. I already use Boxie Pro Litter - the smell is already better than the crap I used before. Love this product! This works great for my bettas, I also use Seachem "Stability" (to prevent the "nitrogen cycle" when starting a new tank and stabilize bacteria afterwards) and "Pristine" (they eat algae!) and now I use them no more. You don't have problems with algae, pH, nitrite, nitrate, GH and KH (all these parameters are VERY important in Betta aquarium water).
