I had a Logitech ergonomic keyboard. I liked it, but noisy. My office is very quiet most of the time and I felt like I was disturbing the person next to me as I type a lot. This keyboard is very quiet and I will not miss the batteries. The mouse is quiet and comfortable. It's a small adjustment to go from an ergonomic keyboard to this straight keyboard, but it's worth it. Loads fast. The only thing I would like is a bit of a stand to tilt it, I used something in my desk to support my back a bit and it's perfect. Takes up a lot less space on my desk and has the same functionality as my previous keyboard. Update: The mouse has started behaving. Thought the battery might be dead. I guess it takes a 3.7V rechargeable battery. I tried putting a regular battery in it until I could charge another one and it didn't work. I just went to Walmart on lunch break and bought a $12 silent mouse that runs on regular batteries.
