I ordered these and microfiber beach towels. It's thicker, softer and absorbs better. Both dry quickly. The best part is that it's 100% cotton and tumble dry friendly. It doesn't even look like a towel and can be worn as a scarf or cape. I have it in my hand luggage and used it as a blanket on a flight last summer. It's also good to have in the car when the seat gets too hot and sticky. I love the naturally woven texture and also because most microfiber towels are thin and only printed on one side. Unlike microfiber towels, dry herbs and leaves will not stick to the fabric. It will be a good gift, so I ordered another one for my friend.
