I have an aveo 07 with obscure GM/Daewoo protocol/software which cannot be read by most OTC readers, especially the airbag/SRS system. For years the dealer had problems with the air bag indicator that the dealer couldn't solve and got tired of paying a diagnostic fee to the Chevy dealer every time the indicator came on as they were the only ones who did it SRS system could access. Well it took a bit of trial and error to try all the gm protocols and systems in the menu but eventually I got access to the srs system, read the error code (low voltage due to low battery), cleared the codes and all is well good. I am very happy. GM, menu "S", first log, worked great with the '07 aveo.
