is expensive - but worth it if you're trying to diagnose problems with the SRS (airbag) or ABS. helped me figure out why my SRS warning light was on and wouldn't let me clear it - the seat belt connector was unplugged under the driver's seat which I removed and thought I plugged it back in when I replaced the seat but didn't plug it in completely one.

Great tool. It reads all of your car's systems. I bought this because a friend's daughter has a Volvo with the ABS light on. He read the codes and told me which wheel position was the problem. The Volvo dealer asked $100 just to read the code. I had no problems updating the code reader. This is one of the few code readers that can read Volvo along with other foreign and domestic vehicles.

This product has worked well for my Volvo S80. This has helped me identify pending codes before validation and resolve them before I might get stuck. This is a good investment for DIY enthusiasts. Note. I have a Torq application, but the MD802 tests more subsystems. I recommend registering the product soon after purchase so you can take advantage of the 1-year upgrades included in the price. The company releases software updates about every 1-2 months.

The scanner looks very good with the box, cables and instructions. Unfortunately, the upgrade process is terrible. I can't update and it won't interact with my 2000 Mercedes E430. I called Autel USA for tech support, waited for over half an hour and then the answering machine just transferred me to leave a message. I am really disappointed and will never consider this brand again. Thank you Revain for the easy return process.

I've tried 3 of these tools and none of them work for me. Every time I contact tech support they have different reasons and when they find out that I have shopped online they don't want to help me anymore and recommend that I contact Autel China for support. This tool was able to read and clear the ABS codes on my 1999 Volvo S70 and also fully control the electronic parking brake on my 2013 VW CC. It's amazing how many things this tool can read and scan. He was even able to retrieve codes from my Volvo instrument cluster.
