If you want a cheaper scanner with basic features, this is for you. I've used it on many different makes and models of cars and it pulls codes and gives you the basic information you need to start diagnosing the check engine light. It's not a 10,000 S**P ON with all the bells and whistles and I used those high quality scanners. But for the home gamer who wants to quickly read data without having to take out a bank loan for a scanner, this option is suitable. I've had one for a few years and it still works.
