Review on Crystalia Macaron Storage Macaroon Containers by Miriam Davis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Difficult to open, must be labeled food handle

While I love the novelty of these Crystalia pasta containers, they are difficult to use. Yes, they're fun and enjoyable to look at, but the lids have very little surface area to grasp. I originally intended them for our kindergarten kids' lunches, but they're difficult to open even for adults, so we'll stick with Gladware. It's also impossible to tell the top from the bottom. This is important to prevent spillage as one side is deeper than the other. Second, items intended for food processing must have information markings on the underside. I don't know what kind of plastic it is, but maybe sawn (type 5)? All of our plastic plates, bowls and mugs from IKEA, Munchkin and others have the dishwasher/microwave symbol, plastic #. After all, "Made in Europe" plays with the prestige factor of European production (compared to Chinese production). Crystalia needs to be more specific as to where exactly it is made. I would be happy about the country of origin.

Cons
