Make sure the back of the accessory is not tightened by the wheel.
Long term review The mount works for scissors, the only problem I have found is when the scissors have a deformed shape of some sort where the clip holds them in place causing the scissors not to sit straight in the mount. Therefore, when sharpening, it is easy to get a different angle on one end of the blade than on the other end of the blade.
