I have an open microphone in my town, the restaurant owner has a speaker system with microphone cables that are too short for my comfort. This meant the amplifier head was too close to the performers to make mixing easy or "transparent" for the crowd. This snake solved the problem. At 20 feet, I have the necessary distance to the performers to mix them without pacing while playing. The ends of the snake are heavy plastic, I've been using them for several months now with no signs of wear, they seem to hold up to weekly use. The snake has a manageable size and is very small. I also didn't notice any overlap between the lines. If you need a short line this will help. This is a great solution for open mics, church openings, or small venues when you have your own sound engineer. After a few months I lost a channel. I suspect it's a wired connection that could use more strain relief. Last night the second channel appeared to be down due to the same issue. If I can fix it all will be forgiven, I'll update this when I know more.
