Too tall for my fridge

I love Cilantro, but its always going bad on me! I thought this would help and I REALLY wanted to love it, but I find its not working for me b/c its too tall for all but the bottom door of my fridge so I FORGET its there and next thing I know, my cilantro has gone "off". The water in the bottom seems to go bad very fast and I also end up having to use a rubber band to keep the clear door closed b/c the herbs are too bushy for the room given in the pod. So that is why I give it only 4 stars. Some of the problem is user error b/c its hiding in an inconvenient part of my fridge. I wish it was shorter.
