Review on πŸš— Sherpa Car Back Seat Cover in Gray: Ultimate Protection and Comfort for Your Vehicle by Rudy Allen

Lightweight, Durable, Smart Design

This is the third seat cover we have fitted to an SUV to protect the rear seat from dog damage. Each of the previous covers failed due to the presence of various weaknesses in the design that eventually failed. Like these, they cover the backrest and seat surface of the rear seat bench. The covers are attached to the rear head restraints with straps. One of our previous covers failed when one of the straps came loose from the fabric. It looks like the Sherpas knew better because their case has visible reinforcements in those areas and thicker shoulder straps. The failure of our second cover was that it was leaked. Looking back I know I should have been more careful because the price was much lower. It was a lesson I learned from traveling with a dog that had a stomach ache. If we had that sherpa coating, we'd notice a small lump and peel it off before it had a chance to penetrate and soil the skin underneath. Another big plus for me is that it's very easy to use, very light compared to our previous two cases. The weave of the fabric is dense, which keeps it light and gives it strength. Please note that this type of cover does not have a flap that attaches to the front seats and forms a hammock type, but the type that ends on the floor. In addition to protecting the seat, the Sherpa rear seat cover has holes that allow the use of harnesses that we use with harnesses to immobilize our dogs and protect them during sudden stops etc. Based on our previous seat covers that cost less but ultimately failed, I recommend this Sherpa seat cover and give it five stars. It's lightweight, durable, and thoughtfully designed.
