These DisplayPort to VGA adapters come in packs of 6 so represent great value for money. They work well at different resolutions and provide a very stable signal. My new desktop computer has HDMI and DisplayPort outputs and I connect it to a TV with a VGA input. I prefer DisplayPort over HDMI for one simple reason - the connectors snap into the connector and you have to press on the sides to disconnect. Initially, I connected the HDMI output of the graphics card to the VGA input of the TV. Once I had to turn the computer over to check something on the back. When I flipped it over, the HDMI cable got tangled and the adapter plug I had came halfway out of the port and then broke off. The adapter is clearly flimsy, but still. ! This doesn't happen with this adapter because it blocks its port. That alone makes me want to use it instead of HDMI for my computer. As for the display quality, it's excellent. It maintains the maximum resolution for my display and everything looks fine. That's all I can ask for an adapter. They work great and are good value for money. I recommend.
