The rugs are shipped rolled up and can be easily unrolled and immediately laid flat on the floor. There is a plastic smell but it goes away. They're pretty easy to clean. I like the length of the longer one because it fits perfectly in front of my sink and dishwasher. The second is shorter and fits perfectly on the side carrier. These rugs are perfect for the laundry room and even the bathroom. Carpets appear thin but don't sag when stood on. I stood on anti-fatigue mats and they were so soft I felt like I was standing on the floor. I don't feel it when I stand on these mats, not even for a long time. The color is light gray with a pleasant pattern that will suit almost any interior. The quality looks like they will hold up to everyday use. I would buy them again.
