Review on 🚗 Metra 99-8205 Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix 03-08 Dash Kit by Alex Solano

I had high hopes for this product and was quite disappointed. My boyfriend and I have a 2005 Toyota Matrix. I ordered two sets. One came with all the parts, the other was missing the part needed for installation. I had to call Amazon and wait a few days to get a replacement set in the mail. The problem with this kit is that it doesn't fit perfectly, even if you follow the instructions that come with it. You should actually break off parts of the kit that are not required. To get a clean break I resorted to using a rubber mallet and chisel. I don't think everyone just has them lying around. The big disappointment came when I installed the stereo. The finished product does not look very good and does not meet the requirements. I'm attaching some photos of the gaps where I can't properly repair the material. Whatever I do, as soon as I click on everything, it immediately reappears. I didn't have this problem when the head unit was in the car. If there is an obvious solution or someone had this problem and figured out how to fix it please let me know. There are much better ones out there at the moment and the fit is pretty poor. How come Amazon hasn't contacted me despite the very bad reviews. I thought they would take care of negative customer reviews. A return would be great.
