We live in a small apartment and need storage and this bed frame was a perfect choice. I love the fact that there are no diagonal supports under the bed itself to block my drawers; diagonal supports are on the outer edges of each end. So there is nothing to snag or block my search for things under the bed. My large laundry basket fits underneath and slides in and out easily, as do several 56 liter Sterilite storage bins. Access to these items is very easy from the sides of the bed; I could put eight of these large storage bins under my bed and have easy access to them if I wanted to. The frame itself was quick and easy to assemble and very solid; In fact, I think it's the strongest frame we've ever had. The bed doesn't creak or wobble or wobble when either of us sit down or turn over. We use it with both the mattress and the box spring and it's quite high: I have to make a little effort to get on the bed but it's not a problem even when I'm half asleep in the middle of the night. Night. (My husband is taller so he doesn't have to put in any extra effort.) I wouldn't want to use it with a thick pillow top mattress and box spring, but our mattress is memory foam and I consider it the standard height (10cm) .
