Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to play tapes of books I read for my grandson. Works great and fun to bring those books and songs back to life. It is also convenient to take a stroller with you. Works better and longer when using Micro USB cable. The speaker is of good quality, does not distort the sound or the words. Headphones are good for personal listening. I plan to buy a second one for other grandchildren. Best deal out there for the price.
