Review on 🚿 Become Mess-Free with the Better Living Products 75453 Ulti-Mate Dispenser 4-Chamber Shower Caddy in White by Travis Rio

NO tools or silicone to attach. Lower soap dish separates for less mess

Let's face it - the 'traditional' wire shower stall looks crappy at best. Most of them rust or discolor over time, big shampoo bottles never fit, small items like razors can fall through bars and so on... some are made of plastic, some are made of "stainless" aluminum and some are even made of wood. Prices were all over the map and some of them were approaching the $100 mark! But none of them matched the clean, sleek, and uncluttered style of my newly renovated bathroom. I came across the Better Living range of dispensers here at Revain and thought this was the most promising option. But I didn't feel like constantly attaching a dispenser (with silicone) to the nice new tile in the shower. What should I do if I don't like the dispenser? What if it breaks and needs to be replaced after a month? A permanent attachment to the wall was too far for me. This particular model from Better Living features a hook that goes through the shower arm to support the weight of the dispenser and 4 large suction cups that attach to the back of the unit to prevent it from rocking or swaying during use slips. Once installed, it is very strong and no silicone, drilling or even double-sided tape is required to hang it up. No tools required, period! I like this dispenser very much. It installs in just a few minutes. I wasn't thrilled with the soap dish/washcloth tray that hung under the dispenser nozzles, but it turned out to be the only unit that had a non-permanent mount, so I bought it anyway. I figured I could use a saw and carefully cut this part off. Aside from liquids (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) the only thing I needed to keep in the shower was my razor. I could tell from the photos that there was enough space to rest my shaver on the small "shelf" built into the top of the unit. When I unpacked the dispenser I was SHOCKED to see that the base with soap dish etc is an option - it is not part of the dispenser itself and you can leave it on when installing the dispenser (which I did). It looks a lot less "busy" if that part isn't hanging down. The dispenser has 4 chambers but I only use 3 (shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap). As others have noted in their reviews, pumps with thicker fluids work poorly (i.e. they don't work). Shampoo and liquid soap are applied normally, but the balm does not spill. I had to dilute the conditioner with water to get it through the pump. This is really the only downside or downside I've found, but there's a workaround (dilute the conditioner a bit with water) so I don't consider it a "fatal bug". I will say that pumps take a LONG time to prime when you first fill the tanks. I thought I got the tune, but after pressing the button repeatedly for almost a full minute, it finally started working. The pumps dispense a fairly small amount of liquid each time the button is pressed, but I think that's better than dispensing too much liquid at once. I'm used to big 1 liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner with a salon style dispenser - they dispense the perfect amount of product with just one squeeze. Blaming Better Living for this trivial detail would be sophistry. Love the fact that I don't have to permanently tape this thing to my shower wall. I love the fact that it goes with everything I used to stuff into a gaudy little wire shower stall while still keeping it clean, simple, concise, and elegant. There are many dispensers to choose from if you want to permanently attach one to your shower screen. But if you don't like that sort of thing, or if you're more renting than owning your home, there aren't many options. Luckily, THIS donor is doing it right; Without a doubt, one should buy this under such circumstances. I love mine and can only recommend them!
