Review on Polk Audio S20 Signature Series Bookshelf Speakers - Home Theater, Surround Sound & Premium Music, Power Port Technology, Detachable Magnetic Grille (Pair), Black by Athit Lordkaew ᠌

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

I specifically waited three months after the purchase, so as not to drown them right away. The sound was disappointing. The system, with a new Denon dra800h stereo receiver and a Polk Audio 10" subwoofer from the same series, was built from scratch. Inakustik wires with soldered copper bananas. Before that, there was the simplest ancient Yamaha video receiver with Microlab solo2 speakers, and I compare it with them. I listen to mp3 from a computer via HDMI, tunein, soundcloud either via HEOS or from a computer. Rare CD. Movies are also from the computer. Total - after three months of warming up, the sound in the movies and in music suits completely. And there are enough highs and mids and bass. When I listen to music loudly, I turn off the sub, because the bass in the speakers is enough for my eyes, and the sub just shakes the whole apartment with furniture and utensils. Quietly listen - with a subwoofer more interesting. Nothing to change and no desire to sell. Considering the price of the speakers is less than 30 thousand, the receiver of the middle class (or even the initial one) and sound sources far from audiophile - the speakers are super. At least for everyday listening to popular sources of normal quality. And if you connect them to an amp for 300 thousand and listen to vinyl through an external phono stage, then most likely they will disappoint the idiot who will do it. As well as the one who expects sound quality from them, as from bookshelves with a price per hundred and paper cones.
