So to be sure this is my second Braun Multimix. I was the happy owner of their 880 version which is many years old and was looking for a suitable replacement as parts for the old one are difficult to come by. When I saw this one available I thought it was the answer. I thought the old beaters would work with this new model, but unfortunately only whisks work. The stick and chopper attachments from the old version of the Braun Multimix will not work with this new version. All that aside, let's talk about something new. A well upgraded engine is excellent if the old model got very hot after prolonged use. This one is cooler and much quieter. Also, you didn't have to work at full capacity to get the same job done as if you had to work at full capacity. They added dough hooks which is a nice addition. The improved chopper chamber is quieter and more spacious than the old model. .The bad dip stick is not yet available in the US. I think it might come out sometime next year. A little pricey compared to other mixers but the last multimix I've had in over 15 years. So if everything stays the same, then it's definitely worth it. Overall this product is much better than the previous multimix and got 5 stars from me.
