My 2TB external hard drive failed to back up on my 500GB desktop computer. After several attempts, I just gave up and decided to only copy my "important" files. It worked until I tried opening it to find only empty folders that were supposed to contain 20 years of family photos. After several formatting and repeated attempts, I just had to give up as the computer told me the drive was only 32GB. Place. I'm not sure where the rest of the 1968GB went, but Win 10 couldn't find it. I sent the disc back and the process went smoothly!
