Usually the problem with ear clips is that they never close. I can say they are strong enough to snap and stay in place and there is even a rubber element added to the clip for 'comfort'. Unfortunately, the rubber part wobbles somehow due to the force of the clamp. In the end, the force of the clamp dug into my daughter's skin, causing a bruise and some blood. She wasn't wearing any of the first pair and I had to throw the rest away. Will I recommend? Probably no. at least until they can "fix" the tightness of the clip.
