I had high hopes for these shorts but unfortunately they didn't come true. I'm 5ft 6", medium height and usually wear a size 12 on my butt. I ordered XL to make sure I had enough room on my hips as you can never tell with short online orders. Training shorts with elastic waist I can usually choose size L or XL and it's ok as the elastic can take any shape. Unfortunately there were still few. They were tight at the waist and squeezed a little, but it seemed it was possible; However, my bigger issue was the length from waist to top of thigh. It was short and immediately gave camel toe. I'm by no means too big now, so it was odd that they fit like that. The inseam/leg length was the same as advertised but if I kept it I'd keep pulling it down and let's be honest opting for the front gussets. I decided to send them back and keep looking. The material felt good and the colors were great, I just missed the midfoot fit and was uncomfortable.
