Review on Diamond Jubapoz Selector Gemstone Testing by Amanda Castillo

I was skeptical about ordering this tester but decided to give it a try. I followed the instructions (you correct the gem size and temperature) and voila - he could tell a real diamond from a cubic zirconia! Sapphires, the instrument did not come with instructions for testing these other stones. How do you calibrate each of these stones? What if the pieces are large (e.g. jade)? If you intend to make such claims, please provide appropriate instructions (calibration and test results) for those items. For this reason, this tester received four instead of five stars. The tester comes with carrying case (including tip protection zone), a loose stone tray (this helped me when testing several loose center locks) and an instruction manual in English. One of the reviewers called this tester crappy. Well, if you are a professional jeweler, this product may not be for you. But if you're trying to quickly determine if a piece you own (or plan to own) contains real diamonds, this little tool is for you.
