I can't tell you how many times I almost got frustrated with this but well written reviews (like the nice person who included instructions that weren't on the actual one purchase) motivated me to push through - and I basically did. Every tiny step along the way seemed to get me into trouble. The little screwdriver that came with it gave me a good 20 minutes of grief before I realized I had the little screwdriver and threw it away. Mine worked in exactly ten seconds. Before inserting the key piece I recommend mating the key insert and plastic housing first to see how everything fits and clicks as you need to do it a specific way to make it easier to manoeuvre. initially without a key. I suggest putting the whole key in the bit to push it through, and also putting the key in and not the plastic part. It is only suitable for pressing on one half, it must be inserted into the other half. This is my top tip because it probably took me half an hour to understand. I was almost ready to throw the damn thing away and that was my saving moment. All ended well except the screw was too big for the hole. or not set correctly. Not sure which. I screwed it halfway in and everything seems tight enough. I can deal with the pesky half sticking out far enough to remind me every time I've paid the cheap price.
