Do not use a USB powered cooling pad

Absolute rubbish! Running 5V USB powered fans is pointless. These fans run at maybe 700 RPM. They make as much CFM as a whispering baby! The only benefit is that it raises the laptop off the surface, allowing the laptop's fans to do the actual cooling. And because of 45, the price of that e-waste has skyrocketed! Look for a mat with a 12v power supply if you want fans to actually move air!
