Bought a nice Silverado used 3 years ago when it was 2 years old. I could tell it belonged to a smoker. I did everything I could think of and afford to get rid of the smoke smell and it never went away. On hot days, when entering the room, an unpleasant smell will be very unpleasant. Finally I decided to do a little research and discovered the existence of a cabin air filter. Bought this one. Changing it is a pain. However, the difference was like day and night. The old one came out brown and dirty. Now when I get in the truck, even if it's hot, pardon the pun, the inside of my truck smells nice, not exactly new, but I can't detect a trace of cigarette smoke. Worth every penny and installing PITA (on YouTube).
