I bought two of these fans to replace the fans that originally came with my Corsair H80 CPU cooler. The Corsair fans were deafeningly loud and it was impossible to properly control the speed through the system BIOS. When I first turned on my computer after installing the Noctua fans, they were so quiet I had to verify they were really working. To run! I connected the fans to the CPU fan headers (there are two on my system, CPU_Fan and CPU_OPT), not to the headers on the H80 pump body. I then connected the controller for the H80 to the pump port on the MB. After booting the system into the BIOS, I fired up the two H80 fans since the PWM is controlled via a profile curve, and I was in business! The maximum CPU temperature when running the CPU-Z stress test is 57 degrees Celsius. The normal CPU temperature under light load is between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. The build quality of these fans appears to be excellent. I am very satisfied and can only recommend it!
