The quality is good, the cover is a bit scratchy

Good quality set. In general, it's very soft, but the blanket is a little bulky, a little scratchy. I can be quite picky about bedding and it bothered me a lot at first but I got used to it. We really like it now :) If you are also picky, it may or may not bother you, if you are willing to return it, if it bothers you, I would advise you to try.
