Review on Alessi 826 15 Round Basket by Brenda Wang

The basket looks exactly like the photo. Measuring 9.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in height, it easily fits a dozen apples and/or oranges. If you can line it with a towel or paper towel and use it as a bread basket or whatever you like. Like other Alessi products it has a solid construction and looks like a high quality basket (there is no mark on the basket or box as to where it was made). Designed by Ufficio Tecnico Alessi in 1948, this is a true classic. Well the quality and looks would be better as the price is no small thing. As much as I love Alessi products, I still find them overpriced. I justified myself by saying that I really like this particular design, but I wouldn't fill my house with Alessi products.
